Zoals u van ons gewend bent, krijgt u tijdens onze boekenbalie de bekende 10 % korting op de studieboeken. Dit is een regeling die wij al vele jaren hanteren en die vele jaren zonder problemen uitgevoerd kon worden. Echter heeft het Commissariaat voor de Media de regels aangescherpt ten opzichte van eerdere jaren. Deze aanscherping houdt in dat Nederlandstalige boeken waarop JFV Ouranos korting mag geven, vooraf besteld moeten zijn door de betreffende student. Alleen in dat geval mogen wij de 10 % korting verlenen. Deze regeling geldt niet voor Engelstalige literatuur, maar wij hanteren voor het overzicht één systeem voor leden. Wat houdt dit concreet in?

U, als lid van Ouranos, moet voordat u naar de boekenbalie komt om uw boeken te kopen, de boeken bestellen in de Study Store Webshop http://www.nbs.nl/index.asp?winkel=Ouranos. Vul alstublieft alle gegevens in anders wordt uw bestelling geweigerd. Alleen uw rekeningnummer hoeft u niet in te vullen. U ontvangt van deze bestelling een bevestigingsemail. Deze email brengt u mee naar onze boekenbalie. Hier kunt u de bestelde boeken met korting kopen. Op deze manier zijn de boeken vooraf besteld en kunnen wij u de korting verlenen. Het is echter niet mogelijk vlak voor de boekenbalie de boeken te bestellen en dan met de print langs te komen. De bestelling moet namelijk door JFV Ouranos doorgestuurd worden naar Studystore. Hier gaat enige tijd overheen. Concreet betekent dit dat u, als u graag uw boeken ‘s ochtends bij onze boekenbalie wilt kopen, u uiterlijk de avond ervoor uw bestelling ingediend moet hebben. Als u de boeken ‘s middags wilt kopen, moet u de bestelling uiterlijk diezelfde ochtend vóór 11h00 ingediend hebben. Om 11h00 worden de bestellingen voor de middag doorgevoerd. Bestellingen die na 11h00 binnenkomen, kunnen pas de volgende dag worden opgehaald. Zonder print van uw bevestigingsemail kunt u geen korting ontvangen.

LET OP: deze bestelling verplicht u in geen enkel geval tot aankoop van deze boeken. Dit is alleen een garantie dat u bij ons de korting kunt ontvangen.

Excuses voor de late berichtgeving. Omdat dit de eerste keer is dat wij dit in samenwerking met Studystore moeten doen, duurde het wat langer dan wij hoopten.

As usual, you will receive during our booksales the well known 10 % discount on your study books. We have provided this discount many years without any problems. This year however, the The Dutch Media Authority, called "Commissariaat voor de Media", is tightening the rules compared to the last couple of years. This means that for Dutch books, the books need to be pre ordered, before they can be sold with a 10 % discount. Although these rules only count for Dutch literature, we chose to use this method for all books that will be sold during our sales. This will keep the sales equal for all members. What does this mean for you as a member?

Before you come to our sales you need to order your books in the Study Store Webshop http://www.nbs.nl/index.asp?winkel=Ouranos . Please fill in all requested information otherwise your order is not accepted. Only your account number is not required. You will receive a confirmation email. You need to take this email confirmation with you to the sales. Here you can buy your books with the 10 % discount. It is not possible to order the books just before coming to the sales. JFV Ouranos needs to send this order through to Studystore. Therefore, if you want to buy your books in the morning, you need to have ordered the books at the latest the evening before. If you want to buy your books in the afternoon, you need to have ordered them at the latest that same morning at 11h00. At 11h00 the orders are sent through to Study Store. Orders that come in after 11h00 can be picked up the next day. Without a print of your confirmation email it is not possible to receive the discount.

NOTE: This order does not oblige you to buy the books. It is only a guarantee that you will receive the discount.

We apologise for the belated information. Because it is the first time we had to use this method together with Studystore it took longer than we hoped.

Uit de vele vragen aan ons is gebleken dat velen van jullie niet op de hoogte zijn van hoe je readers moet bestellen. Readers kun je niet bij Ouranos bestellen. Daarom hieronder een korte instructie:

Readers bestel je bij de docshop: https://um.oce.nl/

Daar kies je je faculteit, je studie jaar en de blokperiode en selecteer je de readers die je wilt hebben. Vervolgens volg je de instructies en betaal je. Daarna krijg je een bevestigingsemail. Als je de boeken kunt ophalen bij de docshop in de UB ontvang je opnieuw een mail.
